Dry needling treatment at City Point Chiropractic

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique that uses very thin, flexible needles to release tight or irritated muscles. These needles are inserted into areas of tension, commonly known as trigger points, to help reduce pain, improve circulation, and restore healthy movement patterns.

The goal of dry needling is to calm overactive muscles, decrease inflammation, and help the body move with less restriction. Many patients experience an immediate improvement in range of motion or a decrease in muscle tightness after treatment.

Dry needling can be helpful for conditions such as tension headaches, neck and back pain, shoulder tightness, hip pain, sciatica, sports injuries, overuse strains, and muscle imbalances from posture or repetitive activity. It works best when combined with chiropractic care, corrective exercises, and movement-based strategies tailored to your goals.
