Pediatric & Infant Care
Pediatric chiropractic care is about so much more than adjustments—it’s about helping little ones move, grow, and function at their best. During those crucial early years, babies and children go through the fastest growth they’ll ever experience. Along the way, they may face challenges with feeding, sleeping, movement, or development that can benefit from gentle, supportive care.
At our office, we customize every visit to your child’s unique needs and your comfort as a parent. Treatment may include:
- Gentle Adjustments: No, we don’t “pop” babies’ backs. Instead, we use safe, light techniques—such as a small hand-held activator tool or sustained light pressure with our fingertips.
- Functional Exercises: Targeted, age-appropriate movements to help your child develop better coordination and motor skills.
- Muscle & Fascia Work: Soft tissue techniques and stretching to release tension and improve flexibility.
- Oral Motor Therapy: Hands-on support for infants with oral restrictions (such as tongue ties, lip ties, or high palates) that may impact feeding, latching, or speech development.
- Parent-Centered Care: We always tailor care to what you are comfortable with, so you remain in control of your child’s treatment journey.
You may notice signs that your baby or child could benefit from chiropractic care, including:
- Milestone Concerns: Reaching milestones out of order, skipping them, or seeming delayed.
- Clumsiness & Falls: Frequent tumbles or bumps that may leave their body feeling “off.”
- Neck Tension: Favoring one breast over the other when feeding, or always turning the head to one side.
- Body Tightness: Feeling stiff, rigid, or difficult to move when you pick them up.
- Irritability: Moodiness or crankiness without a clear cause—what we like to call needing an “attitude adjustment.”
Care Beyond Infancy
Older children can benefit as well! Whether navigating growth spurts, staying active in sports, or simply adjusting to the demands of school and play, chiropractic care can help support healthy movement, posture, and recovery.
